Properly setting your combine sieves is essential to an efficient corn harvest and to reduce broken cobs in the grain tank.
Bottom Sieve: Run wide open.
There is no part of a corn cob or corn kernel that needs re-threshed. Running the bottom sieve wide open allows more air to reach the top sieve. If cobs appear in the tank, then the top sieve is too far open.
Top Sieve:
Close the top sieve to remove broken cobs and achieve desired appearance in the grain tank sample.

Cornstalks not entering row units
